The best way to maintain a healthy body composition (fat to muscle to bone ratio) is to keep our muscle mass. You don’t have to look buff, ripped, or shredded. The function of your muscles is much more important than physique.
Starting in our late 20s, we’ll lose muscle mass gradually and unless we incorporate some musculoskeletal movements intentionally, it’s going to continue to decline, and with it our metabolism.
Incorporate at least one of these daily:
Chores around the house
Sports
Resistance band training
Weight lifting
Push ups, sit ups, pull ups, squats
What you’ll get:
Better metabolism
Stronger bones
Better glucose metabolism
More stamina
Less visceral fat
