Put half slices of half a ripe banana in a medium bowl of hand whisked plain white yoghurt. About 200 gms. Add some salt according to taste. In a small wok, heat 1 tsp of any vegetable oil, add half tsp of black mustard seeds. As they begin to splutter, turn off heat and add one small dry red chilli, to blacken it lightly. Add this tempering into the yoghurt mix. Enjoy this salad, called Raita in India - a generic dish name, as part of your breakfast. You can discard the chilli, added to give the dish a mild heat.

Love it. My Indian patients who live in India called it curd or dahi. Lots of great variations. This sounds delish.
