Thank you for this excellent summary of the road map to healthy aging. I fear you are preaching to the choir and most Americans would prefer a pill (or many pills) to solve their health problems and do not want to do most of these things. But I respect your efforts to reach more people, and I hope you do!

Thank you for reading it. I agree that it can be really hard to make habits and lifestyle changes. What I find encouraging is that more people are leaning towards prevention than treatment. And I'm also really grateful that we have the pills for those who don't have the agency or feel empowered enough to make changes. In a way that's the most beautiful intersection of medicine, offering those who can a way to do it, and those who can't an option that still helps.

The recovery section realy resonates with me. Most people underestimate how much thier body needs proper downtime, especially during stresful periods like tax season or after intense workouts. Its interesting how you connect mental and emotional rest with physical recovery.

Thank you for your support. In the 30 and 40 yo's, lack of downtime is causing gray hairs, weight shifting, skin sagging, hormone changes, sleep trouble. I'm sure it's all connected but it's also the time in life when this group really wants to make it to a successful place in life.
